Do you work with survivors of sexual abuse? Might you, but you don’t realise? 1 in 4 women and 1 in 20 men have been raped or sexually assaulted as an adult, and 1 in 6 children have been sexually abused.  Would you know how to respond if someone disclosed sexual abuse to you?  This course will help you to identify the appropriate, verbal, and nonverbal approaches to a disclosure and much more.

The course will be delivered face to face, one full day a month for four months, at meeting point house, Telford, and you will then have 2 months to complete assignments.

The evidence we collect is as follows,

One written assignment,

Observations reports

One to one professional discussion will take place, over teams.

The course is £449 per person, and when completed, you will gain a level 3 certificate from Aim Qualifications
